Trade Accounts for Builders, Installers and Retailers

Square Flooring imports its own ranges and holds them in its own warehouse. There is no local distributor between us and the factory, and no retail chain taking a margin on the way to you.

That matters in three practical ways rather than as a slogan. Stock questions are answered by the people who own the stock, not relayed to a supplier. Pricing is set here, so a genuine volume conversation is possible instead of a fixed retail rate. And when something is wrong, one company owns the product, the warehouse and — where we install — the workmanship.

We spent years supplying flooring retailers and trade customers across Melbourne, Victoria and Geelong before working directly with end customers. That side of the business has not gone anywhere; you are buying from the same operation those retailers did.

Trade accounts are open to anyone buying flooring as part of a business, which in practice means:

Approved trade customers receive dedicated trade pricing rather than standard retail pricing. Pricing and account arrangements vary depending on the type of customer and the purchasing relationship — builders, installers and flooring retailers are not all treated the same, because they are not buying the same way.

We have not published a flat discount figure, because there is not one. What your account is worth depends on what and how you buy, and the only honest version of that number comes from a conversation.

A valid ABN is required for a trade account. Beyond that, trade pricing varies depending on whether you are a builder, an installer, a flooring retailer or another industry professional.

There is no minimum spend to open an account.

Standard orders are paid in full before goods are released from our warehouse.

Credit terms may be available to approved and established trade customers, subject to account approval and agreed credit conditions. That is a relationship you build rather than a box you tick at signup.

Free flooring samples are available to everyone, not only trade customers.

For trade customers, flooring retailers and showrooms, we can also provide larger display samples for showroom display or for presenting to your own customers. If you sell our flooring from a showroom floor, ask about display samples rather than ordering the standard swatch.

We supply flooring to retailers, builders, installers and other trade customers. You do not have to be laying the floor yourself to hold an account with us.

That is how the business started. We spent years as a wholesale supplier to flooring retailers across Melbourne, Victoria and Geelong before working directly with end customers, and that side of the business has not gone anywhere.

We hold stock across our core ranges and colours at the Reservoir warehouse. In-stock product can be collected the day you buy it, or delivered to your timing subject to transport availability.

For quantities beyond current warehouse stock, additional product is ordered from the manufacturer. Allow approximately 6 to 8 weeks for a factory order, subject to the product, the quantity required, the manufacturing schedule and shipping availability.

Stock availability moves with demand and incoming shipments, so for anything at volume the honest answer comes from a stock check rather than a website. Tell us the quantity and the range and we will tell you what is on the floor today.

Our ranges carry relevant technical testing, including fire, slip and acoustic testing where applicable. Reports and certificates are available on request for specification and compliance review.

Our manufacturer, Changzhou Delai New Material Technology Co., Ltd, holds ISO 9001:2015 for quality management and ISO 14001:2015 for environmental management, both covering the production of laminate and PVC flooring. These are the manufacturer's certifications rather than certifications held by Square Flooring, and we would rather draw that distinction ourselves than have a specifier find it.

If your project needs documentation we have not published, ask. We would rather send you the certificate than have you design around an assumption.

Collect from Unit 48, 2 Cobham St, Reservoir at no delivery charge, Monday to Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm, and Saturday by appointment. A forklift is available for loading larger orders — arrange the collection in advance so the stock is picked and ready when your driver arrives.

Bring a vehicle suited to the order. Small quantities fit a ute or van; a pallet needs something that can take it. Tell us the quantity when you book and we will tell you what to send.

We also deliver directly to residential and commercial sites across Victoria, charged on location, distance and the order. Site unloading is arranged by the customer unless agreed otherwise — or handled by our team where they are also installing.
